Dear PolarQuest traveller,
We hope that you and your loved ones are well during these challenging times.
The current situation is new to everyone and for PolarQuest it requires a different take on just about everything. Together with our friends and partners around the globe we are doing everything in our power to help our travellers in the best possible way.
The Swedish Government and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs have now extended the advise against non-essential travels to all countries. This was announced the 3rd April and applies until 15th June 2020. To PolarQuest this means we will be forced to cancel several of our expedition cruises in Svalbard.
It saddens our polar hearts that we have to cancel the adventures our travellers have saved up for and looked forward to for so long.
We will inform all affected travellers, departure-by-departure, beginning Monday 6th April, and offer risk-free rebooking and/or discounts for those who wants to postpone their adventure until the latter part of 2020 or 2021.
Despite the very difficult current circumstances, we remain optimistic and continue to plan for great PolarQuest voyages ahead. We have taken adventurous travellers to the Polar Regions for more than 20 years and we have no other plans but to continue doing so. As an example of this, we look forward to shortly presenting a new 12-passenger expedition ship that will explore the spectacular Greenlandic wilderness, starting in June 2021.
We once more thank you for your patience and understanding!
