Olivier Kopp Wålberg Guide and Expedition Leader
Olivier started connecting with nature at the early age of 6 and has always been fascinated by its beauty, power and vulnerability.
With a military background, the Svalbard resident has worked as a full-time guide. His work experience includes snowmobile tours, glacier hikes, ski trips, northern light lectures, history lectures about Svalbard, and teaching up- and coming guides how to handle weapons and polar bears in a correct way.
Olivier loves to share his knowledge and his love for Svalbard. He also enjoys showing people from around the world this magnificent and rather untouched piece of land, and when guests share their impressions and feelings about the surroundings.
