Rutger Bianchi Guide

Rutger studied biology and has a particular fascination for animal behavior. He loves cold climates and the cold serenity of a winter landscape. The adaptations needed for animals and plants to survive in the rough Arctic is what fascinates Rutger. Ever since he visited his partner in Svalbard, also a biologist, he has been eager to follow her example and become a guide in this magnificent place.

According to Rutger, there is nothing better than to row, sail, run, ski or hike in beautiful landscapes. As a day job he tries to come up with ways to create a sustainable future for the Netherlands.
