Ryan Hope-Inglis Guide and Expedition Leader
Brittish Ryan lives in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, and guides winter trips on the snow and ice when not onboard. He has also spent a great deal of time in Greenland and has been a guide there as well. In his spare time Ryan enjoys rock climbing, mountaineering and mountain biking. He began his guiding career in Southern France as a white-water canoe instructor.
Hailing from the sunny seaside town of Christchurch in the UK, Ryan studied as an aerospace engineer before soon realizing that outdoor pursuits and education was the way to go. He began his guiding career in Southern France as a white-water canoe instructor. He caught his love for the Polar Regions in 2013 and since then has been coming back to the remote corners of the earth as a guide and expedition leader.
Ryan now lives in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, and guides winter trips on the snow and ice when not onboard. He has also spent a great deal of time in Greenland and has been a guide there as well. In his spare time Ryan enjoys rock climbing, mountaineering and mountain biking and is willing to share his knowledge and stories at any time. You will see his passion for the area onboard!
