Sustainability

Five star wilderness experiences are in focus on every trip with PolarQuest. We feel warmly about the Polar Regions and work actively in many ways to protect this fragile environment. It is vital for the future of these regions that the human impact is governed and limited.

We recognise carefulness and always travel in small groups, for the good of the environment and our guests alike. As modern polar explorers, we want our guests to experience a lot and to encourage your curiosity, while at the same time treading carefully and acting respectfully. Once back home, we hope that our travellers become worthy ambassadors of the Polar Regions, spreading the word of these magnificent and vulnerable areas. A deeper awareness hopefully leads to a broader and more sincere interest, leading to an everyday lifestyle that supports nature conservation worldwide.

AECO strives to set the highest possible operating standards, which its members follow during all landings and excursions. To further support the work of AECO, PolarQuest also contributes 120 NOK per passenger to AECO, on all our Svalbard trips.
