Day trip Kulusuk

From Kulusuk, you will travel with a PolarQuest guide and an experienced local guide on a small boat to another island to go glacier hiking and explore an ice cave. We recommend wearing sturdy hiking boots that cover your ankles, as these allow you to attach crampons and protect and stabilise your ankles when walking on uneven terrain. You should bring shell clothing, a water bottle, a pair of gloves and a warmer layer, as the 20-minute boat trip to the glacier can be chilly. Helmets and crampons are provided on site.
 
For those who are unable to walk to the ice cave, as the terrain can be a little steep or rocky, there is the option of taking a boat trip to the glacier and around the many icebergs in the area.
