Flight information - voyages with M/S Quest
GROUP FLIGHTS
When travelling with M/S Quest, we normally offer a limited number of group flights with SAS between Oslo and Longyearbyen, return. Seats are generally available for booking nine to eleven months prior to departure. For those booking an expedition cruise closer to the departure date, group flights can be added, subject to availability. Included in the price of group flight is 1 x 23 kg checked in luggage and 8 kg hand luggage.
BOOK YOUR OWN FLIGHT
Of course, you can also choose to book your flights independently. Perhaps you wish to travel on a different date or use your flight credits. You book your flight tickets directly via the airlines’ websites: SAS or Norwegian.
You may arrive in Longyearbyen at any time the day before embarkation, when a hotel night in Longyearbyen is included in the trip itinerary. You can also choose any departure time on the day you disembark the ship. Disembarkation is at 08:30 in the morning.
If you have connecting flights, please ensure you have enough connection time in Oslo, with a good margin for any flight delays.
Passengers with connecting flights are advised that an overnight stay in Oslo or at Oslo Airport may be required, depending on your flight schedule.
HOTELS AT OSLO INTERNATIONAL (GARDEMOEN)
Hotels at Gardemoen Airport are easiest booked online. There are several hotels to choose from, with different price categories and various distances from the terminals. Here are some suggestions:
- Radisson Blu Oslo Airport, located at the airport terminals: Radisson Blu Hotels

- Comfort Hotel Runway, 5–10 minutes by bus from the airport: Comfort Hotel Runway

Buses between the airport and hotels run several times an hour.
