An excerpt from the expedition cruise to the Falkland Islands, South Georgia & Antarctica 2015.
Despite of the strong winds we struggled out in the cold, windy weather and finally put the foot on the continent. Some of us hiked up a nearby peak to admire the view. The place we visited was the Almirante Brown Station belonging to Argentina. The station is located in Paradise Bay, a beautiful place. Around the buildings there were lots of Gentoo penguins, all at full speed when we got there! Tomorrow we head north towards the South Shetland Islands.
