Max Schweiger

Max is an expedition guide and filmmaker with a background in design and visual storytelling. He has been guiding Polar Quest expeditions on Svalbard since 2016, sharing his knowledge of Arctic wildlife, landscapes, and practical field skills with guests.

He has worked on feature documentary films in the High Arctic, capturing wildlife and life in remote polar environments. With experience from solo dog sledding expeditions and as a hunter, he brings both practical expertise and a deep respect for nature.

He studied design with a focus on film and later specialized in Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility in London. Today, he works at the intersection of design, film, and sustainable business practices. Based outside Oslo, Max is passionate about helping guests experience the Arctic responsibly and meaningfully.
