Saga Lindgren

Guide

Growing up on a horse farm in the forests of Kolmården, Saga has always been fascinated by nature and loved being outdoors. As a child, Saga had an Icelandic horse and played Ronja Rövardotter in the woods at home.

Being out in nature riding, hiking, canoeing and skiing and cross-country skating is close to Saga's heart. Football also became a big interest early on and as a goalkeeper Saga went to McKendree University, St Louis, in the USA on a sports scholarship after high school. Unfortunately, the football saga ended with a broken knee and now the football boots are on the shelf for good.

Saga is currently balancing her studies in biology and chemistry with seasonal work in the mountains. During the summer of 2026, she is writing her bachelor’s thesis in Arctic Environment as part of a research project run by the University of Gothenburg.

Over the past winter season, she has worked as a ski instructor in the mountain region of Jämtland. In addition to skiing, Saga loves hiking, paddling, spending time outdoors, and horse riding. Space and astrobiology are particular interests that she finds fascinating.
