June in Svalbard – Photos from This Year's Expeditions

June in Svalbard marks a unique transition between two seasons. Beneath the endless daylight of the midnight sun, a dramatic landscape unfolds as the Arctic spring slowly gives way to the gentler days of summer. Glittering snow and ice still cover much of the landscape, wildlife is at its most active, and colourful wildflowers begin to bloom across the tundra.
