As per the plan, we headed north from Longyearbyen once again. Calm weather, and a beautiful sunset.
Calm weather, and a beautiful sunset.
We cruised through the fjords in the north-west corner, and headed back into the Hinlopen Strait.
We spent time in the pack ice to the far north of Svalbard, scouting for wildlife.
We landed on snow-covered beaches, hiking up snowy scree slopes in search of motif's.
With walrus, seals, seabirds, polar bears, and curious reindeer sightings under our belt, we headed back towards civilization.
A relaxed minke whale giving one last parting goodbye as we sailed south towards Longyearbyen.
Please note: Depending on the lens used for a photo or video shot an animal may appear to be closer than it is. We always follow strict wildlife guidelines to ensure that we do not cause any disturbance.
